Genomics and ophthalmlogy face to face event

Lunch provided from 13:00 pm until 13:30 pm

Who should attend: This, in person, event is for professionals (including trainees) working in ophthalmology in the North West.

As genomic medicine becomes embedded into many different services within the NHS it will be pertinent to many different workforce groups.

Knowledge of genomic medicine will aid interactions with patients and improve your practice.

Aims of the event:

  1. To strengthen networks to support the uptake of genomic medicine in ophthalmology
  2. To discuss genetic testing, requesting tests, feeding back genetic results and treatment
  3. To allow clinicians to have a safe place to discuss the challenges and changes faced in Genomic Medicine in ophthalmology
