Call for involvement: Share your experience of HPB Cancer Genetic Testing
Event Description
Have you experienced hepatopancreatobiliary (HPB) cancer testing? If you have, then we would like to hear from you.
In collaboration with our colleagues within the PPIE team at the NIHR BRC at the Royal Marsden Hospital (RMH), and the Institute of Cancer Research, we are looking for people with lived experience of HPB cancer to take part in a national Patient and Public Voice (PPV) workshop.
Your insights will help inform future work and ensure that patient experiences are reflected in the development of services and resources.
Who we're looking for
We are particularly interested in hearing from people who have:

Personal experience of HPB (hepatopancreatobiliary) cancer, including pancreatic, liver, bile duct or gallbladder cancer; and/or
-
Undergone genetic testing as part of their cancer care or assessment.
Workshop details

Online workshop to be held online via Zoom on 30th July 2026 from 4-6pm (joining details will be provided at a later stage

An opportunity to share your experiences in a supportive and collaborative environment

Discussion on the use of genomic testing in HPB cancers, including benefits, opportunities, and challenges

Your feedback will contribute to improving future services and patient experience

You will receive up to £75 voucher rewards in recognition of your time, direct from the NIHR BRC (RMH)/ the Institute of Cancer Research.
