From primary care to pharmacy, and beyond: embedding genomics to enhance patient care

Event Description

Genomics and genomic medicine are being mainstreamed; shaping patient care for the population of the North West.

As your North West Genomic Medicine Service Alliance, we are working with healthcare professionals to support the process of embedding genomics into routine healthcare.

We hope you can join us at our fifth regional genomic roadshow in Cheshire, on 28th June 2023, within the Education Centre, Warrington Hospital, between 09:30 and 12:00 noon to listen to keynote speakers from your region, and learn more about the relevancy of genomics and genomic medicine, throughout a patient’s journey from primary care, via pathology, to pharmacy, and beyond.

Keynote speakers are to be confirmed but will include Professor William Newman, Clinical Director of the NHS North West Genomic Medicine Service Alliance.

There will be a Q&A discussion at the end of the presentations, as well as a physical ‘Genomic Marketplace’ where other topics can be discussed face to face, with other members of our team and the Alliance, during breaks within the presentations. Refreshments will be available.

We look forward to seeing you. Joining instructions including agenda and keynote speakers will be shared in due course.

NB: This is a face to face event which will be filmed.
