Our GMSA colleagues in the East of England have launched a podcast, to showcase the work they have been doing in relation to bringing genomics into mainstream healthcare, and describe the role that pharmacy teams will play.
For their first episode, they invited Jessica Keen, the North West Genomic Medicine Service Alliance's Pharmacy Lead to join them and talk about her career so far and what led to her working with the NHS Genomic Medicine Service as well as outlining one of the national projects for 2021/22, DPYD genetic testing in patients receiving fluoropyrimidine chemotherapy.
The podcast also features Aris Saoulidis who is a senior transformation project pharmacist at the NHS East Genomic Medicine Service Alliance. Aris described the work going on locally across their region.
