Professor Sir Michael Marmot, Professor of Epidemiology at University College London, Director of the UCL Institute of Health Equity and past President of the World Medical Association, launched the Health Equity Network earlier this year in partnership with Legal & General of which NW GMSA is a member.
It aims to roll out practical solutions to reduce health inequalities by bringing together organisations and communities across the country to connect and collaborate with those working towards similar health equity goals.
